Lonsdor K518 PRO Program 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser AKL

This is a tutorial on how to use Lonsdor K518 PRO to program the 2022-2024 Toyota Land Cruiser with all smart keys lost by OBD.

Step1. Backup Immo Data

Immo & remote >> TOYOTA >> Select from type >> All smart key lost >> Type 3(2022-) >> 8A >> Backup immo data

Please refer to [Attention] before the operation, use Toyota-FP30 Cable to connect the PEPS case!

Please ensure the device is well connected to the network before operating!

During the use of this function, please do not operate abnormally, or maliciously steal relevant data, otherwise the K518 will be locked and cannot be unlocked.

Please turn the ignition on, if fails, please turn on 2 flashing lights or cycle the emergency flasher 2 times from "ON to OFF".

K518 PRO will automatically enter the VIN code.

Enter the file name to save data.

Immo data backed up successfully.

After the backup is completed, please roll back the PEPS case installation, and connect all connections and plugs well.

Step2. Generate Emergency Key

Click "Generate emergency key".

This function can load backup data to generate an emergency key in an AKL situation, and then you use this key to turn on the dashboard to add keys.

This function requires an Internet connection.

Connect the K518 PRO antenna and place the antenna's top into the card slot.

Selected the saved immo data file.

Upgrading APP... please don't move the key.

Emergency key generation is successful, please step on the car brake once, and use the emergency key to turn the ignition on, then enter the [Add smart key] function menu to add new keys.

Step3. Add Smart Key

Add smart key >> OK

Please keep the vehicle fully charged, in case of faults caused by low battery power!

Please switch the ignition on.

Load the read D-FLASH data of PEPS to acquire a 12-bit PIN code.

Please select D-FLASH data of PEPS, specific operations as follows:

1. Execute [Backup immo data] to read D-FLASH data, then save the data(BIN file) to the CUSTOM FILE directory in this device host;

2. Select the above BIN file saved in the CUSTOM FILE directory, the file size supports 32K;

3. Click OK, and select the file in the next interface.

Count of the registered keys: 2

Count of registrable keys: 5

Hold the registered key's back closer to the Start button, when the buzzer beeps once, take the key away from the button.

Operation completed!

Count of registered keys: 3

Count of registrable keys: 4

Please turn the ignition off, and check if the key works properly, if it doesn't have a remote function, please follow the prompts to operate, and click OK to continue.

The new key remote works normally.

Lonsdor K518 PRO Program 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser all Keys Lost

Lonsdor K518 PRO can program 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser all smart keys lost by OBD successfully. Need to update Toyota AKL Online Calculation and use Lonsdor FP-30 Cable. No need for any pincode.

Step1. Backup Immo Data

Connect the FP-30 Cable to the smart box and K518 Pro.

Immo & Remote >> TOYOTA >> Select from type >> All smart key lost >> Type 3(2022-) >> 8A >> Backup immo data

Please refer to [Attention] before the operation, use the Toyota-FP30 cable to connect the PEPS case!

Please make sure the device is well connected to the network before the operation!

Lonsdor K518 PRO Unlock Genuine/OEM Chip Type 8A Keys

How to unlock genuine/OEM chip type 8A keys with Lonsdor K518 PRO? Read this article carefully to learn. Here is an original key for the Toyota Camry as an example.

Read Key

Special functions >> Identify/copy chip >> Identify/copy >> Identify/Copy

Put chip to be identified into K518 PRO card slot.

Press OK.

We can find this key's chip type is 8A-A9, and the key is locked.

Unlock Key

Return back to the Home page.

Special functions >> Unlock key >> Toyota smart key >> 8A >> Unlock Toyota smart key(8A)

This function only supports unlocking Toyota 8A(39/88/A8/A9/AA/BA/F3) genuine/OEM smart keys.

Note: please make sure the key battery is fully charged!

Press OK.

Please put the key into the K518PRO card slot.

This operation will unlock the key(revert to brand new, un-programmed).

Press OK to continue.

Please confirm again that you need to unlock the genuine/OEM key!

Press OK.

The key unlocked successfully!

Go back to identify the key again.

The key is unlocked now.

Done.

Lonsdor K518 Reprogram 2019 Toyota Avalon 8A-AA/8A-BA AKL

As we are known for Toyota/Lexus chip-type AA or BA models, we cannot reprogram the deleted original keys anymore. But Lonsdor K518 PRO can do it. Even for the deleted locked original keys from other BA/AA models or the brand new unprogrammed keys, which cannot be programmed before. Following I'm gonna reprogram for a 2019 Toyota Avalon as an example.

Original key (lock & unlock are working)

Lonsdor LT20 Smart Key with the latest version (lock & unlock do not work)

Brand new unprogrammed key (cannot be programmed to this car before, lock & unlock do not work)

Procedure

Step1. Read the data of the unprogrammed key first.

Step2. Generate a new key with the Lonsdor LT20 smart key.

1)Make sure we have the WIFI connection well, and put this unprogrammed key to the K518 card slot first.

2)Use the LT20 smart key to generate the new programmable key, and put the LT20 smart key into the K518 card slot.

Generated successfully.

Step3. Back up the data & add the key to this car.

Backup immobilizer data.

Turn on the ignition then turn off.

Turn on the 2 flashing lights.

The backup is completed.

Now we'll add the smart key.

Turn the ignition on again

You'll find we only have 1 registered key right now.

Touch the original key to the ignition button, and the LT20 smart key to the ignition button again.

We have 2 registered keys right now.

Put the LT20 smart key close to the start button.

Programming completed.

Step4. Write the data from the LT20 smart key to the new key.

Generate successfully.

Let's put the original key and LT20 smart key outside, the new key can lock, unlock, and start the car. It's well done for this function.
