Lonsdor K518S + LKE Program 2015 Toyota Crown AKL Success

This is a guide to show how to program 2015 Toyota Crown all keys lost successfully with Lonsdor K518 Plus LKE Smart Key. Easy and fast in 4 minutes via OBD.

Connect K518S Key Programmer to OBD,

1. Backup EEPROM Data

Immo & remote >> Toyota >> Select from type >> All smart key lost >> All key lost >> Backup EEPROM Data

1) This function can back up car EPROM data.

2) When backup complete, go to "Make emulator key" to make an emergency emulator key.

3) Use the key to touch the start button to ignition dashboard and add key.

Press "OK".

2. Generate LKE

Select "Generate LKE".

This function can generate an alternate master key when all the key are lost. This key can replace the original working key to turn on the dashboard to add key.

Please place LKE Key Emulator into K518 card slot.

The key emulator(LKE) is already bound to the device, whether to choose the required EEPROM backup file to generate LKE?

OK >> Load data file

Current EPROM info:

Count of keys: 1

Key type: A8

Once the key is generated, put the spare key close to the ignition, turn on the dashboard, and select "Add key" function to program new key.

3. Add New Key

Put an emulator key or workable original key close to the ignition switch, and turn it ON till the dashboard is lit up.

Count of the registered keys:1

Put the back side of the registered key close to the start button, when buzzer rings once, remove the key.

Within 30s to put back of the key(to be registered) close to car start button, when buzzer beeps twice, remove the key.

Operation completed!

4. Test Key

Test the new key now.

The remote works fine, and it can start the engine.

How to add a key for Volvo S90(2017-)?

Prepare a key to be programmed.

Dismantle car CEM under the steering wheel, use KPROG to read data, reinstall the CEM back to the car after saving data.

Connect K518S/K518ISE with OBD2 port, go to:

Volvo S90 >> 2017- >> Add smart key >> OK >> OK >> Select the saved CEM data file, yes

Turn the ignition switch on.

Confirm the currently programmed keys(3), press “OK”.

Put the new key to be programmed in the induction area(cup holder).

Currently programmed keys: 4

One key adding is successful.

Press “OK” to program the next one, press “Cancel” to complete.

Let’s test the new key, it does work well.

Lonsdor K518 Tech: how to get the System Log

This post will teach you how to get the System Log from your Lonsdor K518ise/K518s.

Here comes the procedure:

Step 1. Hold those two buttons marked in red at the same time

then, you will enter the interface below:

Step 2. Click "System Information" once, then click the area marked in red for five to eight times in one second continuously and quickly. And then click the area marked in green once.

After that, you will enter the interface below once again.

Step 3. Hold the return key of the device for several seconds

then you will enter the interface as shown below. Click "Get System Log", then click "SD Card Scan".

After that, connect the device to a computer and you will find a file named "System Log".

Done!

Methods of Toyota/Lexus smart key and Ordinary Key programming with k518ise/k518s

This post is about how to use Lonsdor k518ise/k518s to program the smart key and Ordinary Key for Toyota/Lexus.

1. Smart Key (not support refitted vehicles):
For vehicles launched before 2007, dismantle smart box and write a key that can start the vehicle.
For vehicles launched after 2007, need an original key/an old key to add a new key. If all keys are lost, try to backup EEPROM in the menu first. Need to dismantle smart box and read Chip 93C86 data with a programmer if you fail to backup EEPROM data via OBD. Not support data of other chips except 93C86.

2. Ordinary Key:
For Chip 8A/H (for example Ralink), need a master key to add a new key. Need to change an immo box if all keys are lost.
For Chip 4D/67/68, program in the menu via OBD.
For Chip 4C, need to dismantle and write a key that can start the car.
For Chip G, need a master key to add a new key. Need to reset the immo box if all keys are lost.
