How to Program2024 LiAuto L6 All Keys Lost with Lonsdor K518 PRO?

Here's an all-keys-lost 2024 Li Auto L6 job completed with the Lonsdor K518 PRO. No seat removal or battery disconnection is required. Connect the Li Auto & NIO 2-in-1 Cable to the BCM, then the key can be programmed normally.

Access the BCM & Connect the K518 PRO

1. Remove the driver's side lower trim panel and release the retaining clips. 

2. Locate the BCM, unplug the blue connector, and connect the LiAuto 2-in-1 Cable. 

3. Reconnect the BCM connector, plug the OBD cable into the vehicle, then connect the K518 PRO through its OBD interface. 

Perform the All Keys Lost Procedure

On the K518 PRO, go to:

Immo & Remote → LI AUTO → L6 → 2024-2026 → Smart Key

1. Select Read Key Count and confirm the current key count is 0. 

2. Select Program Smart Key, then press OK to continue. The tool supports programming up to two keys. 

3. The system deletes all previously registered keys automatically. After the deletion is complete, place the key to be programmed in the vehicle's induction area and continue. When the key count changes to 1, press OK to add another key if needed, or Cancel to finish programming. 

Verify the Repair

Start the vehicle and check that the newly programmed smart key operates normally. If the vehicle starts and the key functions correctly, the programming is complete.

How to Program 2023 BMW 5 Series Smart Key with Lonsdor K518PRO?

Need to program a smart key for a 2023 BMW 5 Series with a BDC3 system? The LONSDOR K518PRO, together with the ADP40 and BDC3 Adapter Board, can generate a dealer key through a guided procedure. Here's how the process works.

Required Equipment

Programming Procedure

1. Read the Original Key Data

(1) Remove the chip from the original smart key and place it on the BDC3 adapter board.

(2) Connect the BDC3 adapter board to the ADP40 adapter, then connect the ADP40 to the LONSDOR K518PRO.

2. Generate the New Smart Key

(1) On the K518PRO, navigate to:

Generate Smart Key → BMW → G Chassis → BMW G BDC3

(2) Place the new key in the card slot and select Generate.

(3) Once the process is completed successfully, return to the main menu.

3. Create the Dealer Key

(1) Navigate to:

IMMO & Remote → BMW → Select from Type → BDC03 → BDC3 Key Copy (Encrypted)

(2) Ensure Wi-Fi is connected and select Read Working Key to read the original key data.

(3) Save the generated file when prompted.

(4) Next, select To Use Lonsdor Key, place the new smart key flat on the card slot, and press OK. The device will generate and lock the dealer key automatically.

Verification

Test both the original key and the newly programmed key. Confirm that the vehicle starts normally and that the Lock and Unlock functions operate correctly.
